Grading Business Journals: A Comparative Analysis of ABS, ABDC and JCR Quartiles and Proposing an Algorithm Based Classification

There are multiple journal rankings in measuring academic journals business research. Among them, ABS (AJG), ABDC and JCR quartiles extensively used schools across the globe. Which is better grading based upon their performance? In this study, we Principal Component Analysis (PCA) Technique for Order of Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) evaluated 103 on six indicators. Then proposed a simulation approach simulate original grades TOPSIS scores results suggest that quartile closest our simulation, while ranked second third respectively. Lastly, drawing K-means clustering algorithm, grouped into four ordinal classes ABS, ABDC, scores.
